Born in Japan, rooted in Curitiba for decades. In Karate-Do Goju Ryu, he trained under Shihan Leonardo Carion and, in Japan, was a disciple of Shinsaku Murata and Seigo Tada Sensei — a direct heir of Chojun Miyagi's lineage.

He also carries the Joshimon Shorin-Ryu of Sensei Ishizuka, the Wado-Ryu of Senseis Maeda, Sakurai and Ota, and the Kobudo of monk Akeshi Sueyoshi. A master of Acupuncture and Seitai, vice-director of Seigokan Brazil, and national referee for the CBK. This is where he writes — on Budo, tradition, and what sustains a life on and beyond the tatami.
